The validation of hatred

One of leftland’s most common complaints is that their opponents are “full of hate.” This statement comes in a close second to “racist.” Both proclamations being examples of projection. Hatred is certainly not a good thing but, by simple definition it merely means extreme dislike. Who doesn’t dislike something or someone extremely? We’re not morally outraged when someone says they hate broccoli or traffic jams. We’re not supposed to hate people even though some of them give us good cause to do so. I’d certainly understand a Jewish person’s hatred of Nazis.

I can’t say that in past decades I hated “liberals” (the American definition) or disagreed with them enough to really get worked up over differences of opinion. Like many conservatives and liberals, people on both sides had friends in the opposing camp. We enjoyed discussing disagreements and knew that, when one side held an election victory, no one’s life would be radically transformed. You expressed disappointment and waited until the next election. More than likely, a pendulum swing would turn things your way at some point.

But, times have changed. For the neo-Jacobins, simply holding an opposing view can elicit an aggressive desire to harm fellow citizens for their supposed crimes of failing to obey the left’s many edicts. Some may argue that “both sides do it.” It’s occasionally true. I’ve met some on the right who held an aggressive scheme in their thoughts to reconstruct the world in one way or another but… For the most part, imposing a new “and better” system and ridding the world of resistance to the plan is pretty much the terrain of collectivists — right and left. Hitler was a collectivist — a racial collectivist specifically. Traditional conservatives’ prime motivation is a desire to be left alone and a knowledge that free society will be left intact. In that regard, America’s constitutional order serves us fine. American collectivists don’t like the constitution and they don’t like America or western civilization in general. They say this regularly. If one is “building a new world,” the old one has gotta go.

The most emotion I could conjure toward leftists in the past usually showed up as mockery or ridicule. Things have currently changed from such benign interaction.

The left’s actions today have elicited valid cause for something akin to hatred…with a dash of fear. Call us conservatives leftist-phobic but, we now have good reason to fear and resent the left’s plans to enslave us to their “cause.” From bureau-edicts to lawfare, leftist philosophy has returned to its roots in Jacobin-ruled France and Soviet-ruled Russia. They want to hurt us, our friends, our families, and our heritage.

A few decades ago it would be unheard of that American liberals/Democrats would actually raid the home of a political opponent (and former president) in the hopes of prosecution and imprisonment — for retaining classified documents from his own administration, (rememeber, both Biden and Pence were given a pass on this same pseudo-“crime”).

The persistent tribunals held by Democrats against Trump we’re expanded to include members of his family and close associates. Democrats can lie to congress and refuse to testify and get off scott-free. Eric Holder, Merrick Garland, and John Brennen et al. have become welcome guests on CNN and the like. Martyrs for the cause of corruption. Meanwhile, Michael Flynn, Steve Bannon, Rudolph Giuliani, and Peter Navarro et al. are prosecuted. The old “show me the man and I’ll show you the crime” has become standard operating procedure for a ruthless and dishonest clique of socialist autocrats. It was just very recently that a Democrat senator reminded us that, when they get power again, they will actively threaten young staffers under Trump for daring be affiliated with him. Why? Because he’s building a ballroom? Because he stopped taxing tips, overtime, and social security? Because he finally took the required action needed to prevent a terror state from one day nuking Tel Aviv and New York? Really? This is why innocent people should be harassed to no end? Now, no longer satisfied simply attacking political opponents, everyone not on board with “the revolution” is fair game, including one of the most brilliant and productive minds of our time — Elon Musk. His “crime,” in addition to being a counter balance of financial support like George Soros and Neville Singham (and, vicariously, the Chinese communist party), is to be the wealthiest person in the world, having created several modern miracles. Also, buying “X” opened the gates to genuine free speech, something totalitarians hate. Musk was an active participant in the “DOGE” project to eliminate the massive amounts of fraud that corrupt international social schemes like USAID generated. Democrats have turned this issue into one of their typical fabrications that sound economic policy has somehow “starved millions of children.”

Apparently it’s too bad that Democrats don’t have a Time Machine so they could prosecute and imprison Thomas Edison, Thomas Jefferson, Louise Pasteur, and Nicholas Tesla, et al.

Conservatives are not the ones calling for packing the court or drastically altering the country’s constitutional framework. We’re not the one’s facilitating the migration of millions of like-minded foreign compatriots to permanently alter the country’s electorate.

“We are so divided” they say. And, why do you think that is?

I don’t care that people hold different opinions on topical issues. I do care that the other side, feeling so close to achieving their “revolution,” wants to inflict considerable damage on the lives of others.

They hate us for being in their way. It’s probably accurate to say that for many of us, we — now — hate them because they just won’t leave us alone.
